I recently got my hands on the LEGO Camp Nou stadium set, a small dream come true for a Barça fan like me. This model, set number 10284 from the LEGO Creator Expert series, is incredibly detailed, and today I’m here to share my building experience with you.
Set Overview
This LEGO set comes with a massive 5509 pieces, and the finished model measures approximately 59cm x 44cm x 14cm, making it a rather large display piece. The box itself is quite hefty. Inside, the pieces are divided into several numbered bags, each corresponding to a different section of the stadium. The instruction manual is very detailed, with over 680 pages covering everything down to the specific [Camp Nou seating] arrangement, making it almost impossible to go wrong.

The Building Process and Tips
The entire build took me about 15 hours, spread out over a few days. I recommend following the manual’s sequence: start with the base of the pitch, then the stand structure, and finally the exterior walls and details. There are a few tricky parts to watch out for; for instance, the stadium tiers use many small slope pieces, and you need to ensure they are all at a consistent angle to avoid affecting the overall look.
The pitch is created using green plates, while the central FCB logo and pitch lines are applied with stickers. You really need to be patient with the stickers, as even a slight misalignment is very noticeable. I suggest using tweezers for better precision.
Detail and Accuracy Analysis
| Section | Accuracy | Notes |
| Stand Structure | 9/10 | The red and blue seat colors are spot-on |
| Pitch | 8/10 | Stickers require careful alignment |
| Exterior Façade | 9/10 | The glass curtain wall effect is well done |
| Surrounding Details | 7/10 | Some details are simplified |
The finished model is visually stunning, especially from the side, where the stadium’s layered structure really stands out. The seats in the stands alternate between red and blue, perfectly capturing Camp Nou’s classic color scheme. The glass curtain wall on the exterior is made with transparent pieces, which catch the light nicely.
Value and Recommendation
The set is officially priced at around 300 euros. Considering the piece count and the final display quality, I personally think it’s good value for money. If you’re a die-hard Barça fan or a LEGO collector, this is a must-have. However, be aware that this model takes up a lot of space, so it’s best to plan where you’ll display it before you start building.
I was also thinking about getting Real Madrid’s Bernabéu stadium, but LEGO hasn’t released an official set for it yet, so I’ll have to wait. While you can look up real-life Camp Nou ticket prices, this LEGO set offers a different kind of experience. Overall, this build, which brings to mind so many legendary moments of Messi at Camp Nou, was incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend it to all football and LEGO fans.
