Currently, the main debate about buying a retirement home in Spain is between two cities: Valencia and Málaga. I live in Madrid myself, so I’m not very familiar with either place. From what I’ve read online, Valencia seems to have a lower cost of living and is a beautiful city with both a beach and an old town. For example, choosing a real estate agent, or verifying the legal status of a property.
