When I first moved to Spain, Amazon was my go-to for almost everything—it’s fast and convenient. But after a while, I noticed that Amazon here isn’t like other platforms where coupons are everywhere. I even started to think that Amazon.es didn’t offer promo codes at all.
Then, a local friend pointed me in the right direction, and I realized I was just looking in the wrong places. In fact, there are plenty of discount codes for Amazon Spain; they’re just a bit hidden or spread across different channels. Today, I’m sharing a few methods I’ve discovered over the last couple of years to help you save some money!
Main Channels for Finding Discounts
1. Official Amazon Channels
Amazon Prime Student: If you’re a student, this is your best bet! You’ll need a university email to sign up. It offers a 90-day free trial, and the subscription is half-price afterward. In addition to all the standard Prime benefits, student members often receive exclusive discount codes for things like school supplies and electronics.
Ofertas y Promociones Page: This is Amazon’s official deals page. While not all offers are promo codes you enter manually, you’ll find plenty of direct discounts, “buy one, get one free” deals, or multi-buy promotions. I recommend checking it regularly, especially the “Ofertas flash” (Flash Deals) and “Ofertas del día” (Deals of the Day), where you can often find great prices. Sometimes, discounts for specific brands are applied automatically at checkout, which is like a hidden coupon.
2. Third-Party Deal Websites
Besides the official site, many third-party websites specialize in collecting and sharing Amazon promo codes. These sites are updated frequently and are well-categorized, making them easy to browse. The downside is that you might occasionally run into expired codes, so you’ll have to test them out.
| Website Type | Recommended Platform | Features |
| Deal-Sharing Community | Chollometro | Spain’s largest deal-sharing community, tons of information, updated incredibly fast |
| Coupon Portal | Groupon España | Besides local services, it often features general or category-specific Amazon discount codes |
| Cashback Websites | iGraal, Beruby | Get cash back by shopping on Amazon through these sites |
I personally use Chollometro the most because the deals are shared by users, making them more reliable. Plus, in the comments section for Amazon deals, people discuss whether a discount is worthwhile, which is very helpful.
One last tip: be wary of so-called “unlimited universal promo codes”—they are almost always fake. Legitimate discounts are usually for specific products, categories, or user groups. Happy shopping, and I hope you find some great deals! If you know of any other channels, feel free to share them in the comments below!
