I just moved into a new place and realized what a huge task cleaning is, especially since I shed a bit of hair and it gets everywhere. My old vacuum was long overdue for a replacement, so I’ve been browsing all sorts of vacuums on Amazon Spain lately, and it’s been overwhelming. I decided to organize some of the popular models and prices I’ve been looking at and post them here for everyone’s reference. I’d also love to hear your opinions on which one offers the best value for money.
There are so many types of vacuum cleaners these days, mainly falling into three categories: cordless stick vacuums, corded canister vacuums, and robot vacuums. While robots are convenient, I feel like they can’t quite get into all the nooks and crannies, so this time I’m leaning towards a manual one. Cordless models are easy to use—just grab and go—but battery life and suction power are often a concern. Corded ones have powerful suction and you don’t have to worry about the battery, but dragging a cord around is definitely a hassle. They all have their pros and cons, and I’m having a hard time deciding.

Popular Models and Amazon Price Reference
I’ve mainly been focusing on a few brands that are popular in Spain, like Dyson, the local champion Cecotec with its Conga series, as well as Bosch and Rowenta. Prices change daily, so below is the approximate price range I’ve seen over the last few days for your reference. You’ll need to click through to see the actual ‘Oferta’ (deal) of the day.
Comparison of Common Brands and Models
| Brand/Model | Type | Amazon Ref. Price | My Quick Review |
| Dyson V8 / V10 | Cordless Stick | €300 - €450 | Unbeatable suction power and great design, but it’s expensive and the battery life is just average. |
| Cecotec Conga Rockstar | Cordless Stick | €150 - €250 | A hugely popular Spanish brand, great value for money, comes with tons of accessories, and has sufficient suction power. |
| Bosch Flexxo Serie 4 | Cordless Stick | €120 - €180 | A German brand, so quality is assured. This model can stand on its own, which is very convenient for storage. |
| Rowenta Silence Force | Corded Canister | €150 - €220 | Its main feature is being quiet! If you’re sensitive to noise when choosing a vacuum cleaner, this is a great one to consider. The suction is extremely powerful. |
| Cecotec Conga Popstar | Corded Canister | €60 - €90 | Ultimate value for money. If your budget for a vacuum cleaner in Spain is limited, or you just need one for a rental apartment, this one is more than enough. |
Personally, when it comes to Spanish vacuum cleaners, I’m leaning towards choosing between a Conga and a Bosch. Dyson is great, for sure, but it feels a bit over my budget, my wallet says no. The corded Rowenta is also very tempting, especially with its quiet operation. What kind of vacuum cleaners are you all using at home? Any models you regret buying or would highly recommend? Feel free to leave a comment and discuss!
