After applying for the Foreigner’s Identity Card (TIE) in Spain, you will receive a receipt with a ‘LOTE’ number (e.g., 2025/008). This number is the card production batch number used to track its status. Typically, the card production process across Spain takes between 14 to 45 days. Applicants must collect their new card from the same police station where they had their fingerprints taken.
In some regions, card collection requires an appointment booked through the official website.
