Hey everyone! I’ve seen a lot of new students on the forums asking about campus addresses lately. It’s true, the University of Zaragoza has several campuses, and it’s totally normal to feel a bit lost at first. I remember going to the wrong campus when I first arrived—so embarrassing! Today, I’m putting together a guide to help all you newcomers out.
Main Campus: Plaza San Francisco Campus
This is what we usually call the main campus, and it’s also the one with the most historical feel. Many faculties for humanities and social sciences are located here, and you can learn more about student experiences at the University of Zaragoza. The iconic building is the magnificent Paraninfo, which houses the main library and the rector’s office. You’ll definitely be impressed on your first visit! Its location is right in the city center, making it very accessible by transport.
Address: Plaza de San Francisco, s/n, 50005 Zaragoza

Other Important Campuses
Besides the main campus, Unizar has several other important campuses scattered throughout the city. Make sure you don’t go to the wrong one for classes or administrative tasks. For example, if you’re studying engineering or architecture, your home base is the Río Ebro Campus, which is much more modern. Medical students are primarily based at the Faculty of Medicine campus.
To give you a clear overview, I’ve summarized the key details in a table. For more insights, you can read about the University of Zaragoza here:
| Campus Name | Main Fields of Study | Transportation Tip |
| Plaza San Francisco | Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Econ & Business | City center, accessible by tram and multiple bus routes |
| Río Ebro | Engineering, Architecture, Sciences | Located in the north, tram recommended |
| Clínico Universitario | Medicine, Health Sciences | Near the hospital, convenient by bus |
| Veterinaria | Veterinary Medicine | Relatively isolated, check specific bus routes |
All campuses are connected by public transport. The easiest way to get around is to use Google Maps for navigation; just type in the faculty or campus name, and you’ll usually find it. If you’re new and unfamiliar with the city, don’t hesitate to ask passersby or senior students for directions—the people of Zaragoza are very friendly! Of course, it helps if your Spanish is up to par. I hope this guide is helpful, and I wish you all a great time studying and living in Zaragoza!
