Although the application window for Spain’s mass immigration regularization process (commonly known as ‘immigration amnesty’) officially closed on June 30, 2024, a new supplementary phase has opened for applicants who need to correct or complete their submitted documents. This applies both to those who wish to proactively improve their application file and those who have received a request for additional information from immigration authorities.
Designated Offices and Timeframe
According to an official announcement from Correos (Spain’s national postal service), the submission of supplementary documents will be handled exclusively in-person by Correos. This service is available from July 1 to September 30, 2024. During this period, Correos will utilize 383 of its post offices across the country as the sole in-person locations for receiving these documents. This arrangement is the result of coordination between Correos and immigration authorities, leveraging its extensive network to support this large-scale regularization effort.
Who Can Apply and How
This supplementary service is exclusively for individuals who successfully submitted an amnesty application between April 16 and June 30. No prior appointment is necessary. Eligible applicants can simply visit one of the 383 designated branches during its business hours to submit their documents. This measure is intended to streamline the process, making it easier for applicants to add to or correct incomplete, incorrect, or missing files.
