On the afternoon of August 7, 2026, a serious act of street violence took place in the El Born district of central Barcelona. A fight escalated into a stabbing on Calle de Sant Pere Més Baix, near Plaza del Pou de la Figuera, leaving one man critically injured.
Emergency Response and Victim’s Condition
Following the incident, multiple units from the Catalan Emergency Medical System (SEM) were quickly dispatched to the scene. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention to stabilize the victim before rushing him to the hospital. As of this report, the man remains in critical condition.
