The Autosport website adds that the first day’s action will start from the city of Las Palmas before quickly heading into the inland mountains, with the first timed stage being nearly 20 kilometers long. Subsequent stages are located on roads around Tenerife, with predominantly asphalt surfaces, although some sections feature loose gravel and elevation changes. Organizers emphasize that safety measures have been fully upgraded, including additional medical points and barrier installations.

Founded in 1977, the Canary Islands Rally is one of the most prestigious events in the ERC. This year’s edition is scheduled for May 8-11, 2025. Registration is already open, and over 50 teams are expected to compete, including defending champions and international drivers from the WRC level.
