Hospital records show that on August 4 alone, the facility treated and managed three suspected cases of sexual assault. Sources from the health department added that some of the victims seeking medical help are children and adolescents who have remained in Ceuta since the July 30 crossing.

Ahmed Enfed-Dal, president of the Príncipe Alfonso Neighborhood Association, revealed that he has received reports from residents about girls in the area who were allegedly sexually assaulted. The emergence of these cases presents a new challenge for the Ceuta government, which is already under pressure from the migrant influx, and heightens social concern for public safety, especially the protection of vulnerable groups such as women and children.
