Event Recap: Sunday Night Violence
According to the Madrid Police Headquarters, a violent brawl involving multiple individuals erupted in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid shortly after 8:00 PM local time last Sunday. Reports indicate that the clash primarily occurred among several women, with bladed weapons used during the altercation, resulting in multiple stab wounds.
Casualties
Following the incident, two injured women independently went to a nearby hospital to seek medical assistance. Unfortunately, one of the women succumbed to her severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other injured woman is in a stable condition and remains under medical observation and treatment.
Police Arrests and Charges
Upon receiving the report, Madrid police took swift action. So far, four individuals connected to the brawl have been arrested, comprising two men and two women. It is reported that one of the suspects was apprehended by the Madrid Municipal Police. All arrested individuals are currently under investigation for the suspected crime of affray.
