A serious work safety incident occurred around midday on August 10 in the municipality of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Victim’s Condition and Emergency Response
According to reports, the worker who fell is just 23 years old. He fell from scaffolding about 6 meters high. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene quickly after the accident. A preliminary examination revealed the young man had suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. Paramedics intubated and stabilized him on-site before transporting him to the hospital for advanced treatment. He currently remains in critical condition.
