On Tuesday evening local time, a vicious stabbing incident occurred in the Usera district of the Spanish capital, Madrid. A 35-year-old woman was brutally attacked by her partner in her home, suffering multiple serious stab wounds. Spanish police responded swiftly, successfully apprehending the suspect a few hours after the crime.
Late-Night Attack: Woman Viciously Assaulted in Her Home
According to the latest police report, the violent assault took place around 10:00 PM in a residential building on Dolores Barranco street in Madrid’s Usera district. The victim is a 35-year-old woman, and the alleged assailant is a 36-year-old man; both are partners and of Honduran nationality. At the time of the incident, the suspect violently attacked the victim with a knife, inflicting four serious stab wounds and creating a critical situation at the scene.
Emergency Response: Victim Transferred to Local Hospital for Treatment
Upon receiving the emergency call, medical personnel from Madrid’s emergency services arrived at the scene immediately to provide first aid, staunch the bleeding, and stabilize the victim’s condition. To save time, Madrid’s Municipal Police provided an escort for the ambulance transporting the victim. She was then rushed to the 12 de Octubre Hospital (Hospital 12 de Octubre) in Madrid for further emergency care. As of now, the woman remains hospitalized due to the severity of her injuries.
