A large-scale drone light show, “DroneArt Show: Harry Potter,” has been confirmed for Madrid in 2026 as part of its global tour. The show will offer local Harry Potter fans and tourists a unique outdoor entertainment option.
1200 Drones Recreate a Magical Spectacle
The core highlight of the show is its massive drone fleet. 1200 drones will take to the sky in unison, using lights and precise formation changes to “paint” Hogwarts Castle, classic character figures, and iconic scenes from the films across the Madrid night sky. The entire sky will transform into a vast, dynamic canvas, bringing the wonders of the Wizarding World to life. To enhance immersion, the drone performance will be synchronized with the classic score and original dialogue from the Harry Potter film series.
An Immersive Experience with Live Music
Unlike a simple light display, this event aims to create a multi-sensory, immersive show. A live violinist will be on-site, accompanying the drone performance with classic melodies from the films. Furthermore, organizers will provide each audience member with an interactive LED wristband. The wristband’s lights will change in sync with the rhythm and content of the show, transforming spectators into participants and making them part of the interactive light effects.
Venue and Pre-Show Activities
The show will be held at Madrid’s historic Hipódromo de la Zarzuela. To enrich the overall experience, a Harry Potter-themed area will be open before the main show. Guests can enter early to dine, purchase related merchandise, and soak up the atmosphere in this themed zone. Entry begins at 19:00, two hours before the show starts.
