Incident Details: A Sinister Dinner Invitation
According to a report filed with the Spanish National Police, the sexual assault took place this past June. A 23-year-old Bolivian volleyball coach invited his 15-year-old female student and another minor to his home for dinner. However, the situation took a dark turn after the other minor left.
The young victim stated to the police that the coach demanded she remove her clothes. After she explicitly refused, he allegedly used force, forcibly undressing her and ultimately raping her.
Reporting and Arrest: Police Act Swiftly
Following the incident, the coach attempted to contact the victim via social media, but she blocked him to sever all contact. It wasn’t until last Friday that the victim decided to go to the National Police headquarters to file a formal report, detailing the events.
Upon receiving the report and the victim’s testimony, police quickly identified the suspect. Within hours, a patrol from the Citizen Services unit successfully arrested the man.
Judicial Proceedings: Provisional Release with a Restraining Order
The suspect was brought before the judicial authorities on Saturday, the day after his arrest. After a preliminary hearing, the court granted his request for provisional release but issued a strict restraining order, expressly forbidding him from approaching the victim in any way.
