I. Study Methods for Theoretical Knowledge
Why you should avoid blindly practicing test questions:
The question bank is enormous, containing over 200 English test sets, each with 30 questions, totaling more than 6,000 questions. Completing them all is time-consuming and inefficient.
The translations and questions in the question bank may be inaccurate, and some answers might even be incorrect.
Actual exam questions are not directly sourced from the question bank, so completing all the questions may not be useful.
The knowledge in the question bank is fragmented and lacks a systematic structure. Without structured learning, a differently phrased question might leave you clueless.
Efficient learning strategy:
Since I took the English exam, the following recommendations are based on English resources.
Start with a concise summary of the textbook:
Use this website: https://practicatest.com/en/book-theory-driving-test.
The information is very concise and can be reviewed in about 4 hours. However, it lacks content on electric vehicles, eco-friendly car labels, motorcycle electronic helmets, and electric scooters, which you’ll need to study separately from other materials.
Full theoretical textbook:
Most textbooks are around 200 pages long, which can be overwhelming to study in one go. Use the question bank to identify your weak areas and refer to the textbook as needed.
If time permits, skim through the entire textbook for a general understanding.
You can find English textbooks online (though sharing digital copies may involve copyright issues). Keywords for search: “Manual Permiso B Inglés.” Alternatively, purchase a physical copy on Amazon.

Popular question banks:
You can choose from Practicatest, AEOL, or Todotest. All offer online purchasing. Using AEOL as an example:
Tips for AEOL question bank:
Select the 744 question bank and start from the last few sets, as newer content appears there. Earlier sets focus on outdated topics.
New topics like eco-friendly vehicle labels, motorcycle electronic helmets, electric vehicles, and scooters are usually found in the latest sets.
Some of these topics may not appear in older textbooks, so study them separately.
Question-practicing strategy:
You don’t need to complete every question in the bank, as exam questions don’t fully overlap with the bank.
The actual exam consists of 30 questions in 30 minutes, allowing a maximum of 3 errors.
If your accuracy in the question bank reaches 90% or higher, your chances of passing are very high.
Use the “wrong answer review” feature to reinforce weak areas before the exam.
