There are several easily overlooked details during the completion process. First is the date format - it’s recommended to use the European standard DD/MM/YYYY format. Second is the currency unit - if the employment certificate shows monthly salary, it’s better to mark it directly in euros for easier understanding by visa officers. Company contact information must be authentic and valid, as the consulate may conduct phone verification.
Additionally, it’s important to note that the certificate is usually valid for 30 days after issuance, so don’t prepare the employment certificate template too early. If you’re a freelancer or self-employed, you need to provide corresponding business licenses and tax certificates as supplementary materials.
