Spain Visa Document Templates Guide
Recently preparing for a Spain visa application, I found many friends struggling with document preparation. After multiple application experiences, I’ve compiled a detailed document checklist template to help everyone avoid rejections due to incomplete materials.
Basic Document Checklist
Regardless of which type of Spain visa you’re applying for, the following basic documents are mandatory:
| Document Name | Requirements | Notes |
| Original Passport | Valid for at least 6 months | Must have blank pages |
| Photos | 3.5×4.5cm white background color photos (2 pieces) | Recently taken |
| Application Form | Complete filling and signature required | Download latest version from official website |
| Insurance Policy | Medical insurance minimum 30,000 euros | Must cover entire Schengen area |

Tourist Visa Specific Documents
When applying for a tourist visa, in addition to the Spain visa form basic materials, you also need to prepare: flight reservation confirmation, hotel booking confirmation, detailed itinerary arrangement with employment certificate template, bank statement proof, and household registration certificate template employment certificate or retirement certificate. I particularly remind everyone that bank statement balance should maintain the standard of 50-100 euros per day.
Student Visa Document Requirements
Student visas are relatively complex, requiring additional documents: original acceptance letter and translated copy, educational credentials and notarized authentication, language proficiency certificate, financial guarantee proof, etc. It’s worth noting that all educational documents need to go through the Hague Apostille process.
Work Visa Preparation Items
Work visa applicants need to focus on: employment contract provided by employer, NIE number application, professional qualification certificate authentication, criminal background check certificate, etc. I recommend confirming the accuracy of all documents with your employer in advance to avoid application delays due to information discrepancies.
Based on personal experience, I suggest everyone start preparing documents 2-3 months in advance, especially those requiring notarization and authentication. Each consulate may have slightly different specific requirements, so it’s best to call and confirm the latest requirements before applying. I hope this template helps everyone successfully obtain their Spain visa!
