Recently I’ve been looking to bring some Spanish specialties back for family and friends, mainly focusing on perfumes and wines. Having lived in Madrid for two years, I’m quite familiar with local prices and have compiled this Spanish perfume and wine price guide for everyone’s reference.
Perfume Price Comparison
Buying perfumes in Spain is indeed much cheaper than back home, especially for European brands. Here are the prices from several stores I frequently visit:
| Brand | Volume | El Corte Inglés | Perfumerías Druni | Airport Duty-Free |
| Chanel No.5 | 50ml | 89€ | 85€ | 82€ |
| Dior Sauvage | 60ml | 75€ | 72€ | 69€ |
| Tom Ford | 50ml | 125€ | 120€ | 115€ |
I recommend comparing prices across multiple stores as the differences can be quite significant. Perfumerías Druni frequently has discount campaigns - I managed to get 70% off YSL lipstick there last month.

Wine Buying Guide
Spanish wines offer excellent value for money, ranging from a few euros to several hundred euros. I personally recommend wines from the Rioja region for their consistent quality and reasonable prices. Common supermarket prices include:
- Table wines: 2-8€
- Mid-range wines: 10-25€
- Premium wines: 30€ and above
Carrefour and El Corte Inglés offer the best selection and quality assurance. Never buy from small shops in tourist areas as prices will be much higher.
I recommend several brands with great value: Marqués de Riscal, Faustino, and Campo Viejo. These would cost several hundred yuan at specialty stores back home.
My shopping advice is to choose large chain supermarkets or department stores for quality assurance and convenient returns. While airport duty-free shops are tax-free, their selection is relatively limited, so I suggest buying in the city beforehand and then heading to the airport.
