My Stay Experience at NH Hotel Madrid
On my first trip to Madrid, for convenience I chose the centrally located NH Hotels chain. Here, Madrid Hotels shares some real experiences, hoping they will be useful for friends coming to Spain.

Hotel Location and Transportation
The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the metro station, with quick access to Sol or Gran Vía. There are bus and taxi stops nearby, making it safe even when returning late. The location can be described as extremely convenient, especially for first-time visitors to Madrid.
| Place | Distance |
| Sol Square in Madrid city center | About 15 minutes on foot |
| Atocha Train Station | About 20 minutes by bus |
| Airport | About 40 minutes by metro |
Room and Facilities
I stayed in a Standard Double Room, which was clean and tidy with good sound insulation. The bed was soft, making for a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was equipped with a hairdryer and basic toiletries, and the WiFi speed was sufficient for video calls.
Nearby Food and Shopping
In addition to the hotel’s own breakfast, within a few minutes’ walk you can find many restaurants and cafés. There is a local supermarket and small shops nearby, convenient for buying fruit and snacks. Highly recommended to try the tapas shop on the corner, which offers great value for money.
Booking and Price
I booked during the low season, so the price was much cheaper than in peak season. If you check the Madrid Hotel Rankings and book two or three months in advance on the official site or a third-party platform, you can often enjoy discounts. The hotel reception is also happy to help guests arrange short city tours or transportation reservations.
Overall Impression
Overall, my stay at the NH Hotel in Madrid was very [ color=green ]satisfactory. The location, service, and comfort met my expectations for an upper-midrange city hotel. For those planning a short- to mid-term stay in Madrid, the Madrid Urso Hotel is also a great option to consider.
