Complete Guide to Watching the 2025 Madrid Three Kings Parade Live Stream
Every year on the evening of January 5th, Madrid hosts the grand Three Kings Parade, one of Spain’s most important traditional festivals. This year I’ve compiled practical information about watching the live stream and attending in person to share with everyone.
Official Live Stream Platforms and Schedule
This year’s parade will depart from Nuevos Ministerios at 6:30 PM on January 5th and is expected to last until around 9 PM. RTVE will broadcast the entire event live, which you can watch through Madrid Derby live stream their official website or mobile app. Additionally, the local channel Telemadrid will also stream it, with camera angles focusing more on crowd reactions along the route. If you’re abroad or unable to go out, searching “Cabalgata Madrid 2025” on YouTube will also yield multiple live stream sources.

Parade Route and Best Viewing Spots
The official parade route starts from Nuevos Ministerios, passes through Paseo de la Castellana and Plaza de Cibeles, and finally arrives at Plaza de la Armería. Based on my experience over the past few years, the area near Cibeles fountain offers the best viewing experience, but you’ll need to secure a spot at least 2-3 hours in advance. If you’re attending with [Real Madrid live stream] children, I recommend choosing the middle section of Castellana Avenue, where crowds are more dispersed and there’s more space.
| Viewing Location | Advantages | Disadvantages | Recommended Arrival Time |
| Cibeles Square | Open views, lively atmosphere | Dense crowds, requires early arrival | Before 4:00 PM |
| Castellana Avenue | Ample space, family-friendly | Slightly farther distance | Around 5:00 PM |
| Royal Palace Square | Final destination, floats stay longer | Last to arrive, long wait | 6:00 PM is sufficient |
In-Person Viewing Tips
If you decide to attend Real Madrid live stream in person, remember to dress warmly as Madrid temperatures in early January typically hover around 5°C in the evening. Bringing a small folding stool will make things much more comfortable, as you may be standing for several hours. During the parade, floats will toss out candy, so if you’re bringing children, remember to prepare a bag. Also note that Colón and Banco de España metro stations will be extremely crowded during the parade, so plan your return route in advance.
Traffic Control Information
Starting at 4:00 PM, roads along the parade route will be gradually closed. If you’re driving, be sure to avoid the city center area. You can park at peripheral metro stations and then take the metro into the city. After the parade ends, metro service will be extended, so you don’t need to worry about getting home.
Last year was my first time watching the parade in person, and honestly, the atmosphere was truly spectacular. The three kings sitting on magnificent floats, surrounded by cheering children—that festive feeling is something you simply can’t experience through a live stream. However, if you’re really worried about the cold or crowds, watching the live stream at home with hot chocolate and churros is also a great option. I hope everyone enjoys this special evening, and don’t forget to prepare shoes for the children to place by the window, waiting for the Three Kings to deliver gifts.
