Last weekend I visited Las Rozas Village, an outlet mall just half an hour drive from Madrid city center that’s definitely worth the trip. Although it wasn’t my first time there, I always discover newly opened brands with each visit. Today I’d like to share which brands are worth checking out.
Luxury Brand Section
Let’s start with the luxury brands everyone’s most interested in. Top-tier brands like Gucci, Prada, and Burberry all have standalone stores, with discounts typically ranging from 30% to 60%. This time at Burberry, I found last year’s fall-winter trench coat originally priced at €1,200 now marked down to around €700. While not current season, the quality and style remain excellent. Loewe, as a Spanish domestic brand, has a relatively large store space with decent discounts on leather goods, though popular styles often have limited size availability.

Sports and Casual Brands
Both Nike and Adidas have spacious stores with comprehensive inventory. Nike mainly carries previous season or two-season-old styles with around 40% discounts, and athletic shoe sizes are relatively easy to find. Adidas offers even better discounts on their Originals collection, with some basic sneakers reaching 50% off. Additionally, outdoor brands like Timberland, North Face, Columbia have impressive discounts, making it a great time to stock up on winter gear as the cold season approaches.
Here’s a comparison table of main brand categories and approximate discount ranges for Madrid brand clothing:
| Brand Category | Representative Brands | Discount Range | Notes |
| Luxury | Gucci, Prada, Burberry | 30%-60% | Limited sizes |
| Sports Brands | Nike, Adidas, Puma | 40%-50% | Good inventory |
| Outdoor Brands | Timberland, North Face | 40%-60% | More winter styles |
| Fast Fashion | Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein | 30%-50% | Styles update frequently |
Practical Shopping Tips
Regarding shopping hours, I recommend avoiding weekends and holidays. Visiting on weekdays means fewer crowds and virtually no waiting for fitting rooms. The parking lot is large but often fills up on weekends, so arrive early or take the public transport dedicated shuttle bus from Moncloa station in central Madrid, with round-trip tickets costing around €10.
Also note that most stores here offer tax refunds, but you need to spend at least €90.16 to qualify. The tax refund counter is located next to the Information Center, so remember to bring your passport. EU residents aren’t eligible for tax refunds, though the discounts themselves are already quite attractive. The village has several restaurants and coffee shops with prices slightly higher than downtown but still reasonable, perfect for rest breaks when you need them.
Las Rozas Village deserves a dedicated half-day visit to fully appreciate its advantages compared to Madrid brands. Before heading out, check the official website for additional VIP discount coupons, which can sometimes be stacked for even greater savings at El Corte Inglés.
