Recently moved to Madrid and always looking for places to shop on weekends. The city center stores are quite expensive, so I discovered several outlets nearby that are worth visiting. Today I’ll share my experiences at three locations I’ve been to.
First Stop: Las Rozas Village
This is probably Madrid’s most famous outlet, located about 30 kilometers from the city center. I took bus 624 from Moncloa, which takes around 40 minutes. The village is beautifully designed with a resort-like atmosphere.
The brand selection is really comprehensive, featuring luxury names like Loewe, Burberry, and Gucci, as well as affordable brands like Zara and Mango. Last time I bought a pair of Camper shoes for about 70 euros after discount, nearly half the city center price. However, it gets extremely crowded on weekends, so I recommend visiting on weekdays.

Outlet Comparison
| Name | Distance from City | Number of Brands | Transportation |
| Las Rozas Village | 30km | 100+ | Bus 624/Drive |
| The Style Outlets | 15km | 80+ | Metro+Bus |
| Getafe Outlets | 13km | 70+ | Metro C4 |
Second Stop: The Style Outlets
Located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, this one is closer than Las Rozas. Take metro line 10 to the end station, then transfer to a bus. The biggest advantage here is convenient transportation, plus it has a huge parking lot, making it perfect for driving.
The brands aren’t as high-end as Las Rozas, but you’ll find Nike, Adidas, Levi’s and other sports and casual brands. Discounts are decent, typically ranging from 30% to 70% off. I’ve bought sports gear here several times with great value. There’s also a large food court where you can rest and eat when tired.
Third Stop: Getafe The Style Outlets
Finally, Getafe is the closest but relatively smaller in scale. It’s directly accessible via metro line C4, making it the most convenient for those without a car. This location mainly features Spanish local brands like Desigual and Massimo Dutti.
I originally thought smaller locations would be much cheaper, but the discount rates are actually similar to the other two. However, it’s genuinely less crowded, providing a much better shopping experience without queuing for fitting rooms.
Shopping Tips
Based on my experiences, here are some suggestions: Visit on weekdays for fewer crowds, and some stores offer additional discounts. Getting a membership card is worthwhile - Las Rozas VIP card is free and provides access to extra discount information. I also recommend arriving early, before noon, to have plenty of time to browse leisurely.
By the way, if you’re a tourist, remember to bring your passport for tax refund processing, which can save you quite a bit. Among the three outlets, I personally recommend Las Rozas most - though it’s farther, it has the best brands and discounts. Getafe is suitable for quick shopping trips, while The Style Outlets falls somewhere in between. Feel free to share any other good shopping spots you know!
