The restaurant has been open for nearly 200 years and maintains authentic Madrid flavors. The environment is quite simple, just a regular taverna style, but the food is honest and substantial. At 25-30 euros per person, you’ll leave very satisfied, much more affordable than trendy restaurants. For birthdays, you can bring your own small cake, and they won’t mind—they’ll even help heat it up or chill it for you.
