Madrid is a city that rewards slow exploration. Don’t rush through too many attractions. Pick a neighborhood you like and wander leisurely, sit at a sidewalk café watching people pass by—that’s the most authentic Madrid experience. While prices are certainly not cheap, this city’s charm is absolutely worth your time to discover.
