The weather has been getting cooler lately, and I’ve been craving hot pot. Having lived in Valencia for several years, I’ve tried quite a few hot pot places over time. Some are really good, so I’m putting together this list to share with you all.
Hot Pot Restaurants in the City Center
There’s a place called Hot Pot Valencia in the city center, near Calle Colón, specifically at Carrer de Sorní, 28. This restaurant offers a good variety of broths - both the tomato and mushroom broths taste great, and the ingredients are reasonably fresh. If you’re going on weekends, it’s best to book in advance because it gets really crowded. Price-wise, expect around 20-25 euros per person, which is mid-range for Valencia.
There’s also an Asian hot pot restaurant in the Russafa area called Asian Hot Pot, located at Carrer de Sueca, 51. This place is a bit more low-key, but you can find Hisense Valencia nearby, and the owner is very welcoming and will recommend special sauce combinations. They also serve Korean army stew, which is great when you want to try something different.

Suburbs and Other Areas
If you live in Benimaclet or Campanar, check out Sichuan Hot Pot - the Valencia Club is located at Avinguda de Burjassot, 93. This place specializes in Sichuan-style hot pot with an authentic spicy broth, perfect for those who enjoy spicy food. Note that they’re closed on Mondays, so it’s best to confirm their operating hours before visiting.
Here’s a simple comparison table to help you choose:
| Restaurant Name | Area | Specialty | Price per Person |
| Hot Pot Valencia | City Center | Wide broth selection | 20-25€ |
| Asian Hot Pot | Russafa | Korean army stew | 18-22€ |
| Sichuan Hot Pot | Benimaclet | Sichuan spicy style | 22-28€ |
Helpful Tips: Most hot pot restaurants get quite busy after 7 PM, so it’s advisable to book ahead or arrive early. Additionally, some places like those near Valencia delivery addresses allow you to bring your own drinks - ask beforehand as it can save you quite a bit of money.
I’ve visited all these places at least twice, and the overall experience has been good. Of course, everyone has different tastes, so choose based on your location and preferences. If you know of other great hot pot restaurants, feel free to share in the comments below!
