While recently exploring the Valencia region, I stumbled upon several hidden underground entrances. As a veteran Black Desert player, I’d like to share my experience exploring the Valencia underground dungeons. This area features high monster density, decent experience gains, and you can farm rare materials in Tavernas Desert.
Dungeon Entrance Locations
Valencia’s underground dungeon entrances are primarily located along the desert edges. The most common entrance is near Arehaza Ruins, about a 10-minute walk southwest from Valencia City. There’s also a less obvious entrance on the east side of Basilisk Den, which is less crowded and perfect for players who prefer peaceful grinding.

Monster Distribution and Difficulty
Monsters in the dungeon typically range from level 55-58, mainly mutated variants of desert creatures. The most troublesome are the stealth scorpions, which deal high damage and frequently ambush players in [Valencia Caves]. I recommend having at least +15 defense gear, otherwise you’ll get one-shot easily. Elite monsters on the second underground level respawn every 30 minutes and drop Black Magic Crystal Shards that sell for considerable silver.
Here’s a breakdown of main monster types and recommended combat power:
| Monster Type | Recommended CP | Primary Drops |
| Desert Scorpion | 180+ | Poison Sacs, Black Crystal Shards |
| Crypt Guardian | 200+ | Ancient Gold Coins, Rare Accessories |
| Mutant Lizard | 190+ | Scales, Enhancement Stones |
| Elite BOSS | 220+ | Gold Accessories, Legendary Weapon Fragments |
Profit Analysis
Honestly, Valencia underground dungeons offer above-average profits in the current version. I typically earn around 30 million approximately 45 million silver per hour, not counting rare drops. If you’re lucky enough to encounter an elite BOSS during Valencia Desert Hiking and get a gold earring or necklace drop, profits can double instantly. However, note that there are no safe zones in the dungeon, so you may encounter other players at any time, with PK risks involved.
I recommend newcomers first familiarize themselves with the environment on the first underground level, then challenge deeper areas once your gear and skills improve. Also remember to bring enough potions, as merchant NPCs are scarce in the dungeon, making resupply inconvenient.
Finally, a reminder: Valencia underground dungeons have double experience events every Wednesday from 8-10 PM. Don’t miss it if you want to level up quickly. Feel free to discuss any questions in the comments, let’s improve together.
