Last month I spent two weeks in Valencia, staying at Candela Extraordinary Apartments, and now that I’m back, I’d like to share my real experience with you. The apartment has a pretty good location, not too far from the city center, about a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station.
Apartment Overview
I booked a one-bedroom unit, approximately 50 square meters. Upon entering, there’s an open-plan kitchen and living room, with the bedroom in the back. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and more, which is very convenient for those who enjoy cooking, especially considering Valencia apartment prices. The bathroom isn’t large but adequate, with stable hot water. What I appreciated most was the balcony, which is quite spacious - perfect for morning coffee while enjoying the street views.

Nearby Amenities
There’s a supermarket just a few steps downstairs, making it convenient to buy daily necessities. The area offers plenty of restaurant options including Spanish, Italian, and Asian cuisine. The Central Market is about a 15-minute drive away, great for weekend trips to buy fresh ingredients.
| Facility Type | Distance | Notes |
| Metro Station | 10-minute walk | Line 3 |
| Supermarket | 3-minute walk | Mercadona |
| Beach | 15-minute drive | Malvarrosa Beach |
| City Center | 20-minute metro | Old Town |
Stay Experience
The check-in process was straightforward - I received an email in advance with the lockbox location and code for self-check-in. The landlord was very responsive, typically replying to messages within half an hour. The only minor issue was average soundproofing - the bar downstairs could be a bit noisy on weekend nights, though weekdays were fine.
The apartment’s WiFi speed was excellent. Since I needed to work remotely, the internet was more than sufficient. The air conditioning worked great too, which is important as Valencia can get quite hot in summer. The washing machine is in the bathroom, allowing you to do laundry anytime and hang clothes on the balcony.
Overall Assessment
I think the value for money is quite good - the two-week price was considerably cheaper than hotels, plus having a kitchen saved a lot on dining expenses. If you’re coming to Valencia for short-term living or work, this apartment is a solid choice. The only downside is no parking space, so if you’re driving, you’ll need to find street parking, which can sometimes be challenging.
Overall, the stay was quite comfortable, and I’d probably consider this place again next time I visit Valencia for Valencia apartments. Feel free to leave a comment if you have questions about rowing apartments.
