I recently wanted to stock up on some fruit wine at home and discovered that fruit wine prices in Valencia vary quite significantly. After spending two weeks visiting several wineries and supermarkets, I’ve compiled a price list to share with everyone, hoping it will help those looking to buy fruit wine.
Local Winery Prices
Valencia has quite a few local small wineries producing fruit wines, all with excellent quality. I visited three wineries near the city center, with the following prices:
| Winery Name | Fruit Wine Type | Volume | Price (€) |
| Bodega El Ralet | Cherry Wine | 750ml | 12.50 |
| Celler del Roure | Citrus Wine | 750ml | 15.80 |
| Bodegas Murviedro | Strawberry Wine | 500ml | 9.90 |
| Bodega El Ralet | Peach Wine | 750ml | 13.20 |
| Celler del Roure | Mixed Fruit Wine | 1000ml | 18.50 |
The advantage of local wineries is that you can taste the wines, and the owners usually explain the brewing process. Plus, you get a 10% discount when buying six bottles or more.

Chain Supermarket Comparison
Supermarkets offer a wider selection of fruit wines and relatively lower prices. I compared three chains: Mercadona, Carrefour, and Consum.
Mercadona’s own-brand fruit wines offer the best value, with 750ml cherry wine priced at just €7.95. Although the taste is lighter compared to winery offerings, it’s perfectly fine for everyday consumption. Carrefour has a wide variety of imported fruit wines from France and Italy, priced between €10 and €25. Consum falls somewhere in between, carrying both local and imported brands.
Purchasing Recommendations
Based on my experience, if you’re seeking quality and unique flavors as discussed in Valencia warehouse prices, I recommend purchasing from local wineries, especially Celler del Roure’s citrus wine, which is made from local Valencia oranges and tastes absolutely wonderful. For everyday drinking or large purchases for gatherings, supermarket own-brands are more economical.
Additionally, many wineries offer promotional activities during summer with discounts of 20% to 30%. Supermarkets also have sales around Christmas, so you can stock up then. I once bought expired fruit wine at Mercadona, so as mentioned in Valencia property prices, remember to check the production date when purchasing—fruit wine typically has a shelf life of two to three years.
If anyone knows of other cost-effective purchasing options, feel free to share in the comments!
