Last weekend, flying back to Zaragoza from Barcelona, I suddenly spotted a Chayan Yuese shop at Terminal T1 while waiting for my flight, which was quite surprising. I had only seen this brand in Changsha and Wuhan before, never expected it to open at Zaragoza Airport.
The shop is easy to find, located in the waiting area after security, near Gate 12. The decor is similar to their domestic stores, featuring traditional Chinese-style design with Chinese paintings on the walls. However, prices are indeed higher than in China, which is understandable for an airport location.

I ordered their signature Orchid Latte, which tasted just as I remembered, with a nice balance between milk and tea flavors. My friend ordered the Shengsheng Oolong and said the tea aroma was quite strong. We got our drinks in about 5 minutes, which was reasonably quick. Prices are about 30% higher than city milk tea shops, but considering airport rental costs, it’s fairly normal.
Prices and Recommended Drinks
Here’s a price list of several drinks for your reference:
| Drink Name | Price | Rating |
| Orchid Latte | €5.8 | ★★★★★ |
| Shengsheng Oolong | €5.5 | ★★★★ |
| Osmanthus | €6.2 | ★★★★ |
| Gardenia | €5.9 | ★★★★ |
I personally recommend the Orchid Latte and Osmanthus the most, these two are their classic products. If you prefer a stronger tea flavor, Shengsheng Oolong is also good. Sugar levels are customizable; I usually choose half sugar, which is just right.
Operating hours are from 6 AM to 10 PM, covering most flight schedules. However, if you have an early morning or red-eye flight, you might miss it. Weekends tend to be busier, so ordering in advance is recommended.
The staff service is quite good, they speak Spanish and Chinese, and some also speak English. If you’re staying overnight at Zaragoza Airport and don’t know what to order, you can ask them for recommendations. They also have some snacks like cakes and cookies that pair well with milk tea.
If you’re bored while waiting at Zaragoza Airport after Zaragoza Airport security check, you can try this Chayan Yuese shop. Although prices are slightly higher, the taste maintains the brand’s standards. For milk tea lovers at Zaragoza Airport duty-free shops, it’s one of the better options at the airport.
