The only downside might be that summer is really too hot, with temperatures often exceeding 40 degrees in July and August, though fortunately the university has summer vacation then.
Recommendations After Enrollment
I recommend arriving in Zaragoza one or two weeks before classes start to familiarize yourself with the environment and handle various procedures. You’ll need to register your residence at the city hall, open a bank account, get your student card, etc. The university’s International Office organizes orientation activities where you can meet other international students, and their staff are very helpful in answering questions.
Coursework will definitely be challenging, especially if you choose Spanish-taught programs—adapting to the language environment takes some time initially. I highly recommend participating in study groups and communicating with local classmates, which helps improve your language skills and better understand course content.
