As a football fan living in Barcelona for the past three years, I’ve been to Camp Nou for over twenty matches. With many newcomers on the forums asking about seating and Camp Nou ticket prices, I decided to compile my experiences to share with you all.
Stadium Seating Areas
Camp Nou’s seating is mainly divided into three tiers: Primera Graderia, Segunda Graderia, and Tercera Graderia. The first tier is closest to the pitch, allowing you to see the players’ actions and expressions clearly, but if you sit too close to the front, your view might be restricted. The second tier is my personal recommendation; it’s at a moderate height and offers a great view of the entire pitch and tactical plays. The third tier is the highest and cheapest, ideal for those on a budget. Although it’s far, the overall perspective is excellent.

Price and Experience Comparison by Area
Prices differ significantly by section. I’ve put together a table below for reference. Just as a fun aside, they even make a Barcelona stadium Lego set!
| Seating Area | Price Range (€) | View Rating | Recommendation |
| First Tier Center | 120-200 | ⅘ | ★★★★☆ |
| Second Tier Center | 80-150 | 5/5 | ★★★★★ |
| Third Tier Center | 40-80 | ⅘ | ★★★★☆ |
| Behind the Goal | 30-60 | ⅗ | ★★★☆☆ |
Here’s my personal advice: If it’s your first time at the stadium, hoping to witness moments like those from the era of Messi at Camp Nou, I recommend choosing a seat in the Lateral section of the second tier, which costs around 90-120 euros. From here, you can see the players’ technical skills clearly while also getting a great view of the overall tactical layout. It’s the best value for money.
Ticket Purchasing Tips
There are three main channels for buying tickets: the official website, physical ticket offices, and third-party platforms. Never buy tickets from scalpers outside the stadium; a friend of mine got a fake ticket and was denied entry. Buying from the official website is the safest option, and tickets are usually cheaper if you buy them two weeks in advance. For major matches like the Copa del Rey or Champions League, you should buy at least a month ahead.
There’s a significant price difference between members and non-members. An annual membership card costs about 200 euros, which pays for itself if you plan to watch five or more matches in a season. Members also get priority seating and have a better chance of securing tickets for important games.
One last tip: food and drinks around the stadium are very expensive, so I recommend eating before you go in. However, the calamari rings from some of the food stands on the second tier are quite good, costing 6 euros per portion. It’s worth a try. I hope this information is helpful to everyone.
