Hi everyone, I’ve noticed more and more posts about buying property on the forum lately, and it’s got me really interested. I’ve been researching this myself and spent quite a bit of time gathering information to compile a list of some of the more talked-about property projects in a few popular cities, along with the Spain Property Purchase Application Form. This is purely my own compilation based on personal research and tips from some real estate agent friends, so it’s unofficial. I’m sharing it as a starting point and would love for everyone to discuss and add to it!
The Spanish property market has been quite stable in recent years, especially in the major cities and coastal areas. Nowadays, people are buying property not just to live in, but also for its investment value. Of course, many are also paving the way for a ‘Golden Visa.’ Whatever your goal is, choosing the right project and location is absolutely crucial. The table below lists some new or popular developments I’ve compiled for your reference.

Popular City Property Project Reference
| Project Name | City | Main Unit Types | Avg. Price (€/m²) | Brief Review |
| Skyline Madrid | Madrid | 2-4 bedrooms | 7,500 | New landmark in the north, great views, luxury amenities, but high total price. |
| Diagonal Mar Tower | Barcelona | 1-3 bedrooms | 8,000 | Sea-view apartments, close to the beach and shopping centers, ideal for holidays and investment. |
| Picasso Towers | Málaga | 2-4 bedrooms | 6,800 | A rising star on the Costa del Sol, prime sea views, modern design, high potential for appreciation. |
| Salamanca Living | Madrid | 1-2 bedrooms | 9,000 | Located in an affluent neighborhood, excellent location, convenient lifestyle, a classic example of a compact and high-end property. |
| Gràcia Gardens | Barcelona | 2-3 bedrooms | 6,500 | In the Gràcia district, with a strong artistic vibe, suitable for families, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. |
As you can see from the table, the price per square meter in the central areas of Madrid and Barcelona is still quite high, especially in traditional affluent neighborhoods like the Salamanca district, where the location value is significant. Meanwhile, southern coastal cities like Málaga have been gaining a lot of momentum. Not only do they have a pleasant climate, but as emerging tech and tourism hubs, their properties are considered to have a high potential for return on investment. For those with a limited budget who still want a great location, it’s worth looking into renovated small apartments in the city center.
This table is just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone’s needs and budget are different; some prioritize school districts, others transportation, and some just want a quiet environment. Buying a property is a big decision, so don’t be impulsive. The best approach is to view many options and compare them thoroughly. Have you seen any exciting properties lately?
