Therefore, when considering direct admission to Spanish universities, your grades throughout the two years of Bachillerato (Spanish high school) are crucial. Every point counts, and you can’t afford to slack off.
- University Entrance Exam (EBAU/Selectividad): This accounts for the other 40% of the score. It’s a national standardized test that virtually all prospective university students must take. Additionally, students can take optional specific subject exams to earn up to 4 extra points, which is vital for getting into competitive programs.
