Hello friends, I am a Chinese resident who has been living in Spain for over ten years. Due to family matters requiring my return to China for business development, I am reluctantly forced to transfer our boutique winery operated in the Rioja region. This decision is extremely difficult for us, but we hope to find a successor who truly loves the wine business.
Basic Winery Information
Our winery is located in the golden area of Rioja Alta subregion, just 15 minutes drive from the town of Haro. Established in 1987, after three generations of careful management, we currently own 40 hectares of contiguous vineyards, mainly planted with traditional varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Mazuelo. The vineyard soil is a clay-limestone mix with excellent drainage, perfectly suited for quality red wine production.

The winery is equipped with complete modern winemaking facilities, including 12 stainless steel fermentation tanks, 200 French oak barrels, 800 square meters of underground cellars, and a full set of pressing, filtering, and bottling equipment. Annual production is stable at around 150,000 bottles, of which 60% are Crianza level, 25% are Reserva, and 15% are Gran Reserva.
Financial and Operational Status
| Item | 2022 | 2023 |
| Annual Production | 142,000 | 148,000 |
| Revenue | €680,000 | €720,000 |
| Net Profit | €125,000 | €138,000 |
| Export Ratio | 35% | 42% |
The winery has stable sales channels throughout the EU, with main clients including importers from Germany, Netherlands, and Denmark, while also maintaining a good customer base of restaurants and hotels in Spain. Export business has grown significantly in recent years, particularly beginning to break through in Asian markets.
Transfer Conditions and Price
Considering the winery’s location, facility completeness, and brand value, our transfer price is set at €2.8 million. This price includes all land, buildings, equipment, inventory, and the registered trademark for Aragon Red Wine Estate. For serious buyers, we can provide guidance through Spanish Wine Estate for a one-year transition period to ensure smooth operational handover.
Special note: The winery meets the requirements for Spanish investment immigration, and buyers can apply for investor residence permits after purchase. We can also assist with relevant legal procedures and permit renewals according to buyer needs. If the buyer wishes to retain the existing winemaking team, our head winemaker is willing to continue, bringing 25 years of winemaking experience in the Rioja region.
Interested friends can contact me privately, and we can arrange site visits. It would be best if someone who truly understands and loves wine takes over, ensuring the continuation of the winery’s tradition and quality. We do not accept purely speculative purchases, hoping the new owner will manage this wonderful business with dedication.
