Last weekend, taking advantage of the nice weather in Madrid, I finally checked off the Four Seasons Hotel breakfast that I’d been wanting to try for so long. As an ordinary office worker living in Madrid, my usual breakfast is just coffee with a croissant, so this Madrid hotels visit was a little luxury treat for myself. Overall, the experience was quite worth sharing, and I hope it can provide some reference for friends who want to give it a try.
Ambiance and Atmosphere
The Four Seasons breakfast restaurant is located on the first floor, and the entire space design is very stylish. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light, and the morning sunshine streaming in really lifts your spirits. The waitstaff are very professional yet don’t make you feel constrained, which I really appreciated. When I went on the weekend, it wasn’t particularly crowded, and the environment was relatively quiet, perfect for a leisurely meal. Weekdays are probably busier.

Menu and Selection
The breakfast is buffet-style with an incredibly rich variety of dishes. From traditional Spanish churros with hot chocolate to various freshly baked breads, French croissants, and Danish pastries, there’s everything you could want. The cold section features various hams, cheeses, and salmon, while the hot food area offers freshly cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, and more. I especially recommend their Iberian ham - the quality is truly excellent. The fruits are all fresh, and the juices are freshly squeezed.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Iberian Ham | ★★★★★ | Premium quality, must-try |
| Freshly Cooked Eggs | ★★★★☆ | Can request different preparations |
| Fresh Bread | ★★★★☆ | Wide variety, best eaten warm |
| Fruit and Juice | ★★★★☆ | All very fresh |
Pricing and Value
Honestly, the price isn’t cheap - around 45 euros per adult. But considering the quality of ingredients, ambiance, and service, I personally think it’s acceptable for an occasional treat. If it’s for a special occasion or you want to treat yourself, this price point is normal for a five-star hotel in Madrid. Compared to going to an outside restaurant for brunch, there’s more variety here at Madrid NH Hotels, and you don’t have to wait for a table.
Practical Tips
I recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends. Although hotel guests have priority, outside guests can also make reservations. It’s best to arrive before 9 AM when there are fewer people and the food is freshest. If you’re like me and don’t eat a huge amount, I suggest taking small portions first - after all, it’s a buffet and you can always go back for more. Also, parking is available in the hotel’s underground garage with the first two hours free.
This breakfast experience left me quite satisfied. Although the price is steep, it’s definitely worth it as an occasional indulgence. If you’re considering whether to give it a try at best hotels in Madrid, my advice is: if your budget allows, it’s absolutely worth trying, especially suitable for celebrating special occasions or entertaining friends visiting from out of town.
