I recently discovered a bubble tea shop called Sanchi in Madrid’s city center and wanted to share my experience after trying it a few times. The location is easy to find, on a small street near Sol, with a modest but clean interior.
Let’s start with pricing—basic milk teas cost around 4 to 5 euros, with add-ons pushing the price slightly higher. Compared to other Asian bubble tea shops, the pricing is mid-range. I’ve tried several drinks, and overall you can adjust the sugar level and ice amount, which is quite convenient.

Recommended Drinks Comparison
After trying several options, here are the ones I’d recommend:
| Drink Name | Price | My Rating |
| Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea | 5.2€ | 8/10 |
| Mango Smoothie | 4.8€ | 7/10 |
| Oolong Milk Tea | 4.5€ | 9/10 |
| Fruit Tea | 4.3€ | 6/10 |
Flavor Review
The brown sugar pearl milk tea has well-cooked pearls with good chewiness without being too hard. The milk flavor is quite rich, and if you don’t like it too sweet like Kurotaki bubble tea, you can choose 50% sugar. The oolong milk tea is my personal favorite—the tea flavor is prominent and not overwhelmed by the milk foam. The mango smoothie uses real mango, though it can be slightly tart at times. The fruit tea is quite ordinary and doesn’t offer great value for money.
The service is decent, with staff speaking Spanish and English, so ordering is straightforward. Wait times are typically around 10 minutes, though it may take longer on busy weekends. There are a few seats inside, but not many, so if you want to sit and enjoy your drink, I’d suggest avoiding peak hours.
Sanchi is a solid mid-tier bubble tea shop in Madrid. If you’re craving Asian-style bubble tea like Gogodrink bubble tea, it’s worth a try, but don’t set your expectations too high. The prices are reasonable, the flavors are acceptable, though the selection isn’t particularly extensive. Next time I might try their seasonal limited editions at Madrid bubble tea shops and update my review then.
